RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING UTROVEIMITS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF
ASSESSIMTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement
ordinances [and resolutions and entered into contract with Warren and Purtell, Inc.
(G.W.O. 643) for the making and construction of street improvements on portions
`` of numerous streets and/or avenues in said City including among others the
` followings
38th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue U to its
intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue V. known and designated as
Unit Number 1288.
33rd Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Peoria Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of quaker Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1289.
33rd Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Nashville
Avenue to its intersection with the East Property Line of Oxford .Avenue, known
and designated as Unit Number 1298.
38th.Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue N to its
intersection with the East Paving Line of Avenue P, known and designated as
Unit Number 1299.
Avenue N from 132.5t North of the North Property Line of 36th Street to its
intersection with the North Property Line of 38th Street, known and designated
as Unit Number 1300-C.
38th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue AN to its
intersection with the East Gutter_ Line of Avenue L, known and designated as
Unit Number 1301.
j6th Street from its intersection with the East Paving Line of Slide Road to
its intersection with the West Property Line of Utica Avenue, known and designated

designated as Unit Number 1399.
Memphis Avenue from its intersection with the North Property Line of 29th Street
to its intersection with North Property Line of the alley between 28th Street and
29th Street, known and designated as part of Unit Number 1401.
Memphis Avenue from its intersection with the North Property Line of 30th Street
to its intersection with the South Property Line of 29th Street, known and

30th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Memphis Avenue

Southport Addition paving, known and designated as Unit Number 1425, is as follows:
Ranger Drive from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue S at
40th Street to its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue S at 42nd

from its intersection with the East Property Line of Ranger Drive to its
intersection with the West Paving Line of Avenue Q; 42nd Street from its inter-
section with East Property Line of Ranger Drive to its intersection with the West
Paving Line of Avenue Q; 42nd Street from its intersection with the East Paving
Line of Avenue Q to its intersection with the West Paving Line of Avenue P;
Avenue R from its intersection with the South Property Line of 42nd Street to its
intersection with the North Paving Line of 43rd Street; 43rd Street from its
intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue S to its intersection with the

AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovemention�
ed streets and avenues, have been inspected and found to have been constructed
in accordance with terms of said contract (GWO 643).
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK., TZKAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
and avenues be, and the same are hereby accepted.
II.
That the Mayor and City Secretary be, and they are hereby instructed
to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against
the parcels of property abutting upon the said portion of streets and avenues
listed above and against the owners of such property in accordance with law and in
the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference to said
improvements and assessments where such assessments were levied, and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to write a letter releasing money held in escrow to be
paid the contractor for improvements where abutting; property was not assessed.
III.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage,
