RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF 34TH STREET AS LISTED
BELOW AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF ASSESSMENTS
LEVIED.
W11EREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement
�crJ aa« ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with J. R. Fanning
(G.W.O. 588) for the making and construction of, street improvements on portions
�- Z 6 '�^ of 34th Street in said City including among others the following:
34th Street from its intersection with the Center Line of Avenue Q to its
intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue S, known and designated as
Unit Number 1207.
34th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue S to its
intersection with the East Property,Line of Avenue U (North), known and designate
as Unit Number 1208.
34th Street from its intersection.with the East Property Line of Avenue U (North)
to its intersection with the East'Property Line of Avenue V (North), known and
designated as Unit Number'1209.
34th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue V (North)
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue W (North), known and
designated as Unit Number 1210
34th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue W (North)
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue g (North), known and
designated as Unit Number 1211.
34th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Boston Avenue
(North) to its intersection with the West Property Line of Canton Avenue (South),
known and designated as Unit Number. 1212.
34th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Canton Avenue
(South) to its intersection with the West Property Line of Elgin Avenue, known'
and designated as Unit Number 1213.
34th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Elgin Avenue to
its intersection with the West Property Line of Flint Avenue, known and designated
as Unit Number 1214.
34th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Flint Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of Gary Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1215.
34th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Gary Avenue to
its intersection with the West Property Line of Hartford Avenue, known and desig—
nated as Unit .Number 1216.
34th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Hartford Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of Indiana Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1217.

AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovementioned
street; have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been con—
structed in accordance with terms of said contract. (G.W.O. 588).
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street
be and are hereby accepted.
II.
That the Mayor and City Secretary be, and they are hereby instructed to
execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against
the parcels of property abutting upon the said portions of the street listed
above and against the owners of such property in accordance with law and in the
manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference to said
improvements and assessments.
III.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 22nd day of May, 1952.
