Lubbock did, by resolution and permit dated August 10, 1950, grant the United States Air Force certain joint use privileges at the Lubbock Municipal Airport, enumerated A through F in the afore- said resolution, amd enumerated 1 through 9 in the aforesaid permit, and WHEREAS, in accordance v ith the provisions of paragraph 9 -of the aforesaid permit the City Commission of the City of Lubbock did define certain terms, and proralgated the rates and charges provided for in paragraph 9 of the aforesaid permit by resolution dated August 10, 1950, and July 12, 1951, and SMREAS, paragraph E of the aforesaid resolution states "The direct , deferred and amortized costs of operating and maintaining the landing area shall be reviewed sera-annually, adjusted accordinF_ly and e. new per-pound rate developed. The new per-pound rate developed shell be a-;proved by the City Commmission of the City of Lubbock, and shall take full force and ef'fe^t as of the date of approval; ttDTOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF IUBBOCK: SECTION I; THAT; (A) The ,Air Forces shall be charged for all load imposed in ex- cess of ten (10) per centum_of the total load, for any calendar month, at the rate of $0.07615 per thousand pounds, and for the purpose of preparing invoice of charges, it is hereby determined that: T-28 Type aircraft shall be rated at 79000 lbs. gross weight B-25 Type aircraft shall be rated at 25,060 lbs. gross weight T-6 Type aircraft shall be rated at 5,006 lbs. gross weight 0-47 Type aircraft shall be rated at 25,000 lbs. gross weight T-7 Type aircraft shall be rated at 8,000 lbs. gross weight T-11 Type aircraft shall be rated at 8,000 lbs. gross weight 0-45 Type aircraft shall be rated at 8,000 lbs. gross weight Civilian aircraft shall be rated as follob-s DC-3 Type at 25`,000 lbs. DC-4 Type at 63,000 lbs. Itinerant civilian aircraft shall be averaged and rated at 5,000 lbs. Local civilian -aircraft shall be averaged and rated at 2,000 lbs. (B) The Lubbock Municipal Airport Control Tover Traffic records shall be used ,as the basis of determining the number and type of civilian aircraft movements. (0) The United States Air Force shall provide a control officer during periods of their operations, and shall provide the Airport Manager with a daily extract of their operations. This extract shall include the number and type of all United States Air Force movements. (D) The total number of movements sha..11 be rzultiplied by the gross weight of the aircraft, using the gross weights hereinabove set forth. After determination of the total gross load in mounds imposed upon the airport for any given period, the Air Forces shall be granted ten (10) per centum of the tota:..l -2- gross load. imposed during any calendar month �,.nd their charge shall be compounded y.^ at the rate of $0.07615 per 1,000 lbs. , for all load in excess of ten (10) per centum of the total gross load during that period.
