A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING BUS STOPS.
WHEREAS, the Citizens' Traffic Commission has recommended
certain changes in the location.of uptown bus loading areas, and public necessity
and convenience require the establishment of such new areas to conform to a
master street-use plan for handling traffic, and the City Commission has passed
ordinances necessary to remove parking meters from the newly designated areas,
THEREFORE,
BE .IT RESOLVED BY,THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:

SECTION 1. That bus loading zones BE, and the same are hereby
designated as follows, to-wit:

xF� (1) A space on the East side of Avenue L beginning,at the North
line of Broadway and extending North a distance of sixty (60) feet.
(2) A space on the North side of Broadway beginning at the East line
of Avenue K and extending East a distance of sixty (60) feet.

1 (3) A space on the South side of Broadway beginning at the East line
-��1- of Avenue K and extending East a distance of 120 feet.
(4) A space on.the West side of Texas Avenue beginning at the North
line of Broadway and extending North a distance of sixty (60) feet.
(5) A space on the West side of Texas Avenue beginning at the South
line of Broadway and extending South a distance of sixty (60) feet.
(6) A space on the North side of Broadway beginning at the East line
of Texas Avenue and extending East a distance of sixty (60) feet.
(7) A space on the East side of Avenue L beginning.at the South line
of Broadway and extending South a distance of sixty (60) feet.

(8) A space on the South side of 13th Street beginning at the East line
of Avenue K and extending East a distance of sixty (60) feet.
E (9) A space on the South side of 13th Street beginning at the West line
of Texas Avenue and extending West a distance of sixty (60) feet.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective concurrently with
the effective date of the provisions authorizing changes to be made in bus routing
under the plan recommended by the Citizens' Traffic Commission and adopted by
the City Commission, and authority is granted the Traffic Engineer to uniformly
paint the curbs and place uniform signs'at the designated locations.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.

Commissioner Thomas this Resolution was duly, passed by
the following vote of the City Commission this 6th .day of March, 1952:
Commissioners voting "YEA": Morris, Hufstedler, Davis, Thomas and
Mayor Whiteside
