HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 101151A - Paving Lien Release - Lot 6, Block 6, Delmar Addition - 10_11_1951 ��,✓ RESOLUTIONS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE-CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 687, recorded in the County Clerkts Office of Lubbock County, Texas, on June 20, 1942, and in Unit No. 410 an assessment was attempted to be levied against Lot Six (6), Block Six (6), Delmar Addition to the City of Lubbock, and no lien attached to said lot by L� reason of such proceedings which now constitute a cloud on the title to a home- stead, and the owner demands that the same be released; THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized to execute said Release to said property covering the apparent lien. - On motion duly made and seconded, the foregoing Resolution was passed by the Governing Body of the City of Lubbock this llth day of October 1951, by the following vote: '— �t9�,r� Commissioners voting "Yea' : Morris, Hufstedler, Davis, Thomas 1 j and Mayor Vohiteside Commissioners voting "Nay": None ATTEST: ---�� Mayor ———— --- (City Secr tar THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF LUBUOCK RELEASE I, CLARENCE K. WHITESIDE, Mayor of the City of LubbocX by virtue of authority vested in my by the Governing Body of the City of Lubbock, in con- sideration of Lot Six (6), Block Six (6), Delmar Additiont the City of Lubbock, having been a homestead at the time of paving assessment under Ordinance No. 687, do by these presents fully release and,discharge said lot from any and all liens and claims of the City of Lubbock by virtue of said ordinance and assess it This llth day of October 1951.
