ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with Jarren and Purtell, Inc.
for the making, and construction of street improvernients on portions of numerous
streets and avenues in said city including; among others the follo,ring: �
31st Street from its intersection with the west Property Line of Peoria Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of I-emphis Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1200.
33rd Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of r1ashville Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Memphis, Avenue, known and
designated as Up-it Number 1219.
Knoxville Avenue from its intersection with the North Property Line of 27th
Street to its intersection with the South Property Line of 26th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1227.
23rd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Iiem-phis Avenue
to its intersection with the West Propei:,'�y Line of Nashville Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 12.43,
32nd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Peoria Avenue
to its intersection with the -Jest Property Lire of Ifeinphis Avenue, hno- and

AND I-EEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovementioned
streets and avenues, have been completed and have been inspected and found to
have been constructed in accordance with terms of said contract. (GWO 614).

That the im>rovements on said portions of the abovementioned streets and
avenues be and the same are hereby accepted.

That the Mayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed
to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied
against the parcels of property abutting upon the said portions of streets and
avenues listed above and against the owners of such property in accordance
with law and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings
with reference to said improvements and assessments where such assessments were
levied, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to write a letter releasing
money held in escrow to be paid to the contractor for improvements where the
abutting property was not assessed.

This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
