RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMMOVENENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES,
AS LISTED BELOW: AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF THE
ASSESSMEUS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement
ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with Warren & Purtell, Inc.
for the making and construction of street improvements on portions of numerous
streets and avenues in said city including among others the following:
38th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Boston Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Akron Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1173.
26th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Louisville
Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Knoxville Avenue, known
and designated as Unit Number 1181.
�. Akron Avenue from its intersection with the North Property Line of 31st Street
to its intersection with the South Property Line of 30th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1184.
College Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 50th Street
to its intersection with the South Property Line of 42nd Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1192.
40th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Boston Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Akron Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1193.
42nd Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Akron Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of College Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1202.
Joliet Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 32nd Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 33rd Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1224.
22nd Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Memphis Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Lot 122 Block 1 and Lot 4
Block 2 of Anderson Sub, known and designated as Unit Number 1231.
33rd Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Peoria Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Oxford Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1232.
Flint Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 33rd Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 34th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1234.

College Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 41st Street

to its intersection with the Lest Property Line of Louisville Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Fumber 1241.
Flint Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 31st Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 32nd Street, ;mown and
designated as Unit Number 1274.
Detroit Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 48th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 5Oth Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1276.
25th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of I<erk his Avenue
to its intersection with the West Propsrty Line of Vickers Re-Sublivision
known and designated as Unit Plumber 1281.
33rd Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of 11amphis Avenue
to its intersection with the Last Property Line of Eckfee Heights, known and
designated as Unit Plumber 1282.
AID WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovementione
streets and avenues, have been completed and have been inspected and found to
have been constructed in accordance with terms of said contract NO 584)

I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovemontioned streets and
avenues be and the same are hereby accepted.
II.
That the ilayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed to
enecate and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against
the parcels of property abutting upon the said portions of streets and avenues
listed above and against the owners of such property in accordance with law
and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference
to said improvements and assessments whore such assessments were levied; and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to write s letter releasinZ money held in
s- escrow to be paid the contractor for improvements where the al utc _ng property
was not assessed.
III.
Mis resolution shall tak-e ell:fcct and be in force from and after its
passage.
