WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement ordinances and resolutions., and entered into contract with the property owners for the making and construction of street improvements on portions of numerous streets and avenues in said City including among others the following: Avenue N, from its intersection with the North Property Line of 30th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 31st Street, kno�m and designated as Unit Number 566. 30th Street, from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue L (North) to its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue N, known and designated as Unit Number 623. Avenue U. from its intersection with the North Property Line of 3rd Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 4th Street, known and designated as Unit Number 675. Avenue X. from its intersection with the South Property Line of 8th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 9th Street_, known,-and designated as Unit Number 694. 94 Avenue M, from its intersection with the North Property Line of lst Street to its o intersection with the South Property Line of 2nd Street, known and designated as to I part of Unit Number 862. • lst Street, from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue L to its w intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue Pi, known and designated as ;* I Unit Number 869. a cue. lst Street, from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue M to its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue N, known and designated as rl Unit Number 870. rq lst Street, from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue N to its •� intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue 0, known and designated as o Unit Number 871. o lst Street, from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue 0 to 'its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue P, known and designated as Unit Number 872. m AFvD WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovementioned ostreets and avenues, have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with terms of said contract. i ,rq THEREFORE, BE I^ RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TE]. : to That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets and avenues be and the same are hereby accepted. That the riayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against the parcels of property abutting upon the said portion of streets and avenues listed above and. against the owners of such property in accordance with law and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference to said improvements and assessments where such assessments were levied, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to write a letter releasing money held in escrow for improvements where abutting property was not assessed. III. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
