RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IIj?ROVE1,L—ATS ON PORTIOr1S OF STREETS., AND/01 AVEMES.
AS 'LISTED BELOW AND ORDERING TIP ISSUANCE OF CERMFICATES IN EVIDIMM E OE ASSESS-
MENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement
ordinances and resolutions, and entered into contract with Warren and PurtellI
Inc. (GWO 614) for the making and construction of street improvements on portions
of numerous streets and/or avenues in said City including among others the .
following:
Flint Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 35th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 36th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1220.
35th Street mom its intersection with the West Property Line of Elgin Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of Flint Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1221.
39th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue W
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue X. known and designated
as Unit Number 1240.
36th Street.from its intersection with the West Property Line of Elgin Avenue
s, to its intersection with the West Property Line of Flint Avenue, known and
0 designated as Unit Number 1252.

AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovementioned
.� streets and avenues, have been completed and have been inspected and found to
, have been constructed in accordance with terms of said contract. (GJo 614).
THE. �++ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEUL:

1 That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets and
:4 avenues be, and the same are hereby, accepted.

o That the Mayor and City Secretary be, and they are hereby instructed to
execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against
o the parcels of property abutting upon the said portion of streets and avenues
listed above and against the owners of such property in accordance with law and
in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference to
M said improvements and assessments where such assessments were levied, and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to write a letter releasing money held in
a escrow for improvements where abutting property was not assessed.

This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
