RESOLUTIOYI ACCEPTING DIPROVEY-NITS ON PORTIONS OF STRE7TS, AVID/OR AVENUES,
AS LISTED BELOW AVID ORDERING TM; ISSUlaTCE UT CERTIFICATES IN EVIDE_ICE OF ASSESS—

LTHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement
ordinances and resolutions, and entered into contract with Warren and Purtell,
Inc. (GWO 584) for the making and con-Struction of street improvements on portions
of numerous streets and/or avenues in said ' City including among others the
following;
38th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue W
to its intersection with the East Property Line of College Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1233.
41st Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of College Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Akron Avenue, knoz•m and
designated as Unit Number 1236.
College Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 37th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 38th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1194.
College Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 38th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 39th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1195.

AYdD WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovAmention—
ed streets and avenues, have been completed and have been inspected and found to
'0 have been constructed in accordance with terms of said contract. (GWO 584.).

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS;

That the improvements on said _portions of the abovementioned streets and
y, ' avenues be, and the same are hereby, accepted.

II.
That the Mayor and City Secretary be,and .they are hereby,instructed to
execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against
the parcels of property abutting upon the said portion of streets and avenues
listed above and against the owners of such property in accordance with law and
in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference to
said improvements and assessments where such assessments were levied, and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to write a letter releasing money held in
escrow for improvements where abutting property was not assessed.
III.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
