RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVE ANTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AAD/OR AVENUES,
AS LISTED BELOW AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDM CE OF ASSESS-
IMS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement
ordinances and resolutions, and entered into contract with Warren and Purtell,
Inc. (GWO 572) for the making and construction of street improvements on portions
of numerous streets and avenues in said City including among others the following
Elgin Avenue from its intersection with the South Paving Line of 34th Street to
its intersection with the North Property Line of 36th Street, known and designate
as Unit Number 1077.
Elgin Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 36th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 39th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1078.
Elgin Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 39th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 40th Street, hnown : nd
designated as Unit Number 1079.
35th Street from its intersection with the :Jest Property Line of Avenue J to its
intersection with the West Property Line of'Avenue K, , known and designated
as Unit Number 1080.
Duke Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Gary Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of Flint Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1081.
Fordham Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Flint
Avenue to its intersection with the EaE:t Property Line of Gary Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1082.
Akron Avenue from its intersection with. the North Property Line of 2nd Street
to its intersection with the South Property Line of lst Place, known and
designated as Unit Number 1088.
Dartmouth Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Canton
Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Detroit Avenue, known
and designated as Unit Number 1089.
1st Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Indiana Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of Hartford Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1092.
39th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of College Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of ,Avenue X. known and designated
as Unit Number 1093.
Amherst Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Hartford
Avenue to its intersection with the East Property Line of Indiana Avenue,
known and designated as Unit Number 10914.

I 38th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue U
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Jarrott Addition, known and
designated as Unit Number 1O95.
35th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue "A"
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Elm Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1O96.
Bates Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Detroit
Avenue to its intersection with the East Property Line of Elgin Avenue, known
and designated as Unit Number 1118. it 4 r, •
Avenue X from its intersection with the South Property Line of 37th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 38th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1120.
2nd Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Akron Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Boston Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1122.
Avenue B from its intersection with the South Paving Line of 31th Street to
its intersection with the South Property Line of 36th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1125.
-•-, Avenue C from its intersection with the South Paving Line of 34th Street to
its intersection with the South Property Line of 36th.Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1126.
AND WEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the above—
mentioned streets and avenues, have been completed and have been inspected and
found to have been constructed in accordance with terms of said contract.
(GWO 572).
THERKFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
and avenues be and the same are hereby accepted.
II.
That the Mayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed to
execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against
the parcels of property abutting upon the said portion of the streets and
avenues listed above and against the owners of such property in accordance with
law and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with
reference to said ,improvements and assessments where such assessments were
levied, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to write a letter releasing
money held in escrow for improvements where the abutting property was not
assessed.

This resolution shall take effect and be in force and after its passage.
