h , it is a policy of the City of Lubbock to require the developers

areas that are not populated; and,
tiRiMEAS, it is also a policy of the City of Lubbock to require that all
water and sewer lines shown on the master crater and sewer plans of the City of
Lubbock be constructed in any. street pr=_or to the pavement of said street; and,
G� WTDLiL's, it is a policy of the City of Lubbock to construct pavement on
I any street ou which a majority of the property oirners have petitioned that
�'� pavement be constructed; and,
-WIMMEAS, there is a conflict in these policies.
y. NU THKHEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO11ISSION OF TIM CITY OF
LUBBOCK, TMM:
, r�L.d-�• THAT, even though the pavement of certain streets within, into, and bor—
dering undeveloped territory has been requested by petition by the oti.ners of
abutting property, said streets shall not be progranmed for construction or
included in any proposed contract until the oimers of the abutting and/or ad—
jacent property have deposited with the City of Lubbock the cost of the construc—
tion of water and sewer lines in said streets in accordance -with the master hater
and sewer plans of the City of Lubbock.
