A RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SIECIFICATIONS AND DIRECTING ADVERTISE-
MENT FOR BIDS.
WHEREAS, the City Commission on February S, 1951 passed a resolution
providing for the improvement of a certain portion of 34th. Street in the
City of Lubbock to be done under General Work Order 588 and directing pre-
paration of plans and specifications for such improvements, and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared and filed with the City plans
and specifications for such improvements, and same have been examined, NOW
I THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIXESSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT, the plans and specifications subtaitted by the City Engineer,
covering improvements of certain portions of 34th. Street, BE, and the same
are hereby approved and the Mayor and City Secretary are hereby authorized
and directed to advertise for bids in accordance with the nNotice to Bidders"
made a part of said specifications and covering the qua.nities of materials
needed for said paving program as therein set out.
