RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Covntiission has approved.appraisals by Glen Hess; Wylie
Puckett, and Robert W. Wright for the widening of 19th Street between Avenue H
and the Panhandle and South Plains main line track; THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CCt-MSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT, the hereinafter mentioned appraisal has in all things been approved,
and,
THAT, Lubbock Cotton Oil Company, or the true owner and all persons in
interest in the following described property, to-witt
BEGINNING at a point 30 feet North of the Southwest corner of
Section 3, Block 0, of Lubbock County, Texas, said point also
dying in the West line of said Section 3, Block 0, of Lubbock
County, Texas; THENCE North 18 feet along said West line of
Section 3, Block 0, of Lubbock County, Texa_ s; THENCE North 890
09'-300-last 409.54 feet more or Tess to a'point 409.5 feet
East and $4 feet North of said Southwest corner of Section 3,
Block 0, of Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE North 660-571 East
300,42 feet more or less to a point 709,5 feet East and 70
feet North of said Southwest corner of Section 3, Block 0,
of Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE North 460-551 East 235.37
feet more or less to a point in the Panhandle and Santa Fe
Railroad Company's Westerly Right-of-fay line, which is 939..5
feet East and,120 feet:North of said'South�west corner of Sec-
tion 3. Block-O., of Lubbock.County, Texas; -.THENCE South 390-45'
East along the Westerly Right--of- Tay line of the main line to
Slaton of the Panhandle :and. Santa Fe Railroad Company to a
point 30 feet North and 1012.07 feet East of said Southwest
corner of Section 3, Block 0; of Lubbock County, Texas; 'ONCE
West 1012.07 feet more or less to the.poiit'of beginning#
be offered by the Right-of-Way Agent the total sum of $51500.00 for said property,
including all damages accruing to the owners with possession delivered to the
City free and clear of any and all liens, encumbrances, or claims of any nature.
On motion of Commissioner Hufstedler seconded by Commissioner
Nbrriis, „ , the foregoing Resolution was unanimously passed by the
