RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEAENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR
AVENUES, AS LISTED BELOW, AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE
OF ASSESSMENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, The City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street im+
provement ordinances and resolutions, and entered into contract with Kerr and
Middleton for the making and construction of street improvements on portions of
numerous streets and/or avenues in said City, including among others the
following:
Avenue U from its intersection with the North Property Line of
38th Street to its intersection with the North Property. Line of 39th Street,
known and designated as Unit Number 1005.
39th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of
Avenue S to its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue U,
known and designated as Unit Number 1007.
22nd Place from its intersection with the ;Test Property Line of
Indiana Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Memphis Avenue,
known and designated as Unit Number 1009.
24th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of
Avenue G to its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue F,
known and designated as Unit Number 1011.
Avenue F from its intersection with the South Gutter Line of 23rd
Street to its intersection with the South Property Line of 25th Street,
known and designated as Unit Number 1015.
24th Street rj-�tt {ts intersection with the East Property Line of
Avenue F to its intersection with the West Paving Line of Avenue E,
known and designated as Unit Number 1016.
2nd Street from its intersection with its intersection with the
East Property Line of Boston Avenue to its intersection with the West Property
Line of Detroit Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number 1017.
4th Street 2rom its intersection with the West Property Line of
Avenue A or U. S. Highway Number 87 to its intersection with a line which is
57.1 feet West of the West Property Line of Avenue C, known and designated as
Unit Number 1018.
22nd Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of
Knoxville Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Louisville
Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number 1020.
lst Street 2rom its intersection with the Southwest Property Line of
Clovis Road to ,its intersection with the East Property Line of Temple Avenue,
known and designated as Unit Number 1021.

Avenue T from its intersection with the Southwest Property Line of
Clovis Road to its intersection with South Property Line of 2nd Street,
known and designated as Unit Number 1022.
2nd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of
Avenue V to its intersection with the East Property Line of Vernon Avenue,
known and designated as Unit Number 1032.
24th Street f�om its intersection with West Property Line of Knoxville
Avenue to its intersection with the East Property Line of Louisville Avenue,
known and designated as Unit Number 1105.
23rd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of
Louisville Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Memphis
Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number 1123.
37th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of
Avenue S to its intersection with the East Property Line of the Jarett Addition,
known and designated as Unit Number 1146.
22nd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of
Louisville Avenue to its intersection with a line which is 230 feet West of the
West Property Line of Louisville Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number 117 .
36th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of
Avenue S to its intersection with the East 'Property Line of Jarett Addition,
known and designated as Unit Number 1180.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovemen
tioned streets and/or Avenues have been completed and have been inspected and
found to have been constructed in accordance with the terms of said contract.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY C0111ISSION GF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
and/or avenues be and the same are hereby accepted.
II.
That the Mayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed
to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied agains
the parcels of property abutting upon the said portions of the streets and/or
avenues as listed above, and against they owners of such-property in accordance
with.-law and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with
.reference to said improvements' and assessments.

This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
