MOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEM ITS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR
AVENUES, AS LISTED BELDW, AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE
OF ASSESSMENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improve—
ment ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with the property
jY,,jejt44,Yp owners for the making and construction of street improvements on portions of
! ' numerous streets, and/or avenues in said City, including among others the
following:
20th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Louisville
Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Memphis Avenue, known
and designated as Unit Number 1001.
Louisville Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 19th
Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 20th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1003.
33rd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue % to its
intersection with the East Property Line of College Avenue, known and designated
as Unit Number 1004.
-- 33rd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Indiana Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of Joliet Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1008.
35th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue % to
its intersection with the East Property Line of College Avenue, known and designatel
as Unit Number 1010.
Louisville Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 20th
Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 21st Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1012.
Louisville Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 21st
Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 22nd Place, known and
designated as Unit Number 1013.
Louisville Avenue from its intersection with the South Property'Line of 22nd
Place to its intersection with the North Property Line of 27th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1014.
33rd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line ,of Knoxville Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of Louisville Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1019.
37th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Boston Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Canton Avenue, known and

designated as Unit Number 1031.
27th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Memphis Avenue
to its intersection with the West Gutter Line of Louisville Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1030.
41st Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Boston Avenue
to -its intersection with the East Property Line of Canton Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1033.
35th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Boston Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Canton Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1034.
Ar'D WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portion of the above—
mentioned streets and/or avenues have been completed and have been inspected and
found to have been constructed in accordance with the terms of said contract.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on se-id portions of the abovementioned streets
and/or avenues be and the same is hereby accepted.
32nd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Knoxville Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of Louisville Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1025.
31st Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Knoxville to
its intersection with the West Property Line of Memphis, known and designated as
Unit Number 1026.
33rd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Elgin Avenue to
its intersection with the East Property Line of Indiana Avenue, known and desig—
nated as Unit Number 1027.
37th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of College Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Akron Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1028.
40th Street from its intersection with the West Property Ling of Boston Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Canton Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1029. ' `'

mentioned streets and/or avenues have been completed and have been inspected and

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on se-id portions of the abovementioned streets
and/or avenues be and the same is hereby accepted.

That the Mayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed to
execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against
the parcels of property abutting upon the said portions of the streets and/or
avenues as listed above, and against the owners of such property in accordance
with law and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with
reference to said improvements and assessments.
III.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
