WHMMAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street impresve— 1 went ordinances and resolutions, and entered into contract with the property{ owners for the making and construction of street improvements on portions of numerous streets, and/or avenues in said City, including among others the following: f 21st Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Fillmore Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Pierce Avenue; known and designated as Unit No. 976. hby East Avenue C from its intersection with the South Property Line of East 26t� , Street to its intersection with the South Property Line of East 28th Street,- known and designated as Uidt No. 972. i East Avenue D from its intersection with the South Property Line, of East ,26th' Street to its intersection with the South Property Line of East 28th Street; known and designated as Unit No. 973. Avenue D from its intersection with the South Property Line of 14th Street to ; its intersection with the North Property Line of 15th Street; known and �- designated as Unit No. 956. Avenue D from its intersection with the South Property Line of 15th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 19th Street; known and designated as Unit No.957. Avenue F from its intersection with the North Property Line of 19th Street to its intersection with the North Gutter Line of 23rd Street; known and designated , as Unit No.937. Avenue J from its intersection with the South Property Line of 32nd Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 33rd Street; known and designated as Unit No. 939. 33rd. Street from its intersection with the West Paving Line of United States Highway 87 to its intersection with the East Right—of—way Line of the Fort Worth and Denver City Railroad known and designated as Unit No. 952. Jefferson Avenue from its intersection with the South Paving Line of 34th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 35th„Street; known and designated as part of Unit No. 885. 36th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Adams Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Jefferson Avenue; known and designated as Unit No. 985. ; ' -. � 'Row V r> 24th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Polk Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Taylor Avenue; known and designated as Unit Ko.988. 21st Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of ,Polk Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Taylor Avenue; known and designated as Unit No. 974. Avenue J from its intersection with the South Property Line of. 33rd Street to its intersection with the North Paving Line of 34th Street, known''and designated as Unit No. 941. AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portion of the abovementioned streets and/or avenues have been completed and have been inspected and k6und to have been constructed in accordance with the terms of said 'oontraet. '' THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, !TEXAS: `: ! 1. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets and/or avenues be and the same is hereby accepted. 11. That the Mayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against the parcels of property abutting upon the said portions of; the streets and/or avenues as listed above, and against the owners of such property in accordance with law and in the manner provided in said contract and the proceedings with reference to said improvements and assessments. 111.
