RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETSt AND/OR AVENUESt
AS LISTED BELOW, AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIIE-NCE OF ASSESS—
MENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement
ordinances and resolutions, and entered into contract with the property owners for
the m-kin- and construction of street improvements on portions of numerous streets,
and/or avenues in said City, including among others the followings
24th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue P to its
intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue % known and designated as
Unit No. 699.
20th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Tyler Avenue to
its intersection with the West Property Line of Polk Avenue, known and designated
as Unit No. 706,
Jackson Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 22nd Street to
,y its intersection with the North Property Line of 23rd Street, known and designated
as Unit No. 735.
26th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue Q to its
intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue S. known and designated as
Unit No. 736,
Harrison Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line oP 20th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 21st Street, known and
designated as Unit No. 739.
Wolffarth Street from its intersection with the East Paving Line of U.S. Highway-
No. 84 to its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue g, known and
designated as Unit No. 789.
Avenue V from its intersection with the South Property Line of 7th Street to its
intersection with the North Property Line of 8th Street, known and designated as
Unit No. 800.
Avenue V from its intersection with the South Property Line of 8th Street to its
intersection with the North Property Line of 9th S,treety known and designated as
Unit No. 801.
Ruby Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Madison Avenue to
its intersection with the East Property Line of Van Buren Avenue, lmown and
designated as Unit No. 818.
Avenue % from its intersection with the North Property Line of 4th Street to its
intersection with the South Property Line of 3rd Street, known and designated as
Unit No. 828.
A^ Polk Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 19th Street to
its intersection with the North Property Line of 20th Street, known and designated
as Unit No. 933.
AND WHEREAS., the improvements upon the said portion of the above mentioned
streets and/or avenues have been completed and have been inspected and found to
have been constructed in.accordance with the terms of said contract.
TiRIiE'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned streets and/or
avenues be and the sane is hereby accepted.
I I.
That the Mayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed to execute
and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against the parcels
of property abutting upon the said portions of the streets and/or avenues as listed
above, and against the owners of such property in accordance with law and in the
manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference to said im—
provements and assessments.

This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
