RESOLUTION
IBE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:

THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed
in favor of American State Bank of Lubbock, Texas attached herewith which
shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes
of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully
copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 11th day of November 1982.

QUITCLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of
the sum of ONE AND N0/100 ($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and
valuable consideration to it in hand paid by American State Bank
of Lubbock, Texas hereinafter called 'GRANTEE", the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents
ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said
GRANTEE, all its rights, title and interest in and to that cer-
tain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
That portion of Paris Avenue in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock
County, Texas described in Exhibit A hereto attached and
made a part hereof.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and
singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any
manner belonging unto the said GRANTEE, its successors and assigns
forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, CITY OF LUBBOCK, its suc-
cessors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at
any time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any right to the
title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part
thereof.

Field notes on that part of Paris Avenue; South of 13th Street, North of
15th Street and Fast of Lot A, G.A. Rush Addition Replat, East of Lot 11, Block
3, G.A. Rush Addition and West of Lot C, G.A. Rush Addition Replat, to the City
of. Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas and being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at an "x" on sidewalk, the Northwest comer of Trot C, G.A. Rush
Addition Replat, and the Northeast of this description;
Thence South along the East line of Paris Avenue, 362.0 feet to a railroad
spike set at the P.C. of a curve to the left;
Thence Southeast alona the curve to the left, an arc distance of 70.39 feet
to an "x" on concrete, said curve has a radius of 61.0 feet, a central angle of
66006'50" and a chord that bears South 33003'25" East', 66.55 feet;
Thence South, 4.96 feet to an "x" on concrete;
Thence East, 13.94 feet to an "x" on concrete, for the P.C. of a curve to
the right;
Thence Southeasterly along the arc of a curve to the right, an arc distance
of 53.77 feet to an "x" on concrete, for the Southeast corner of this tract,
said curve has a radius of 61.0 feet, a central angle of 50°30'32" and a chord
that bears South 54034'52" East,.52.05 feet;
Thence West, 129.88 feet to a concrete nail, for corner of this tract;
Thence South 5.0 feet to a nail for a corner of this tract;
