RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION 1108 - 5/27/82
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Partial
Paving Release as regards Notice of Improvements insofar as same affected
property abutting Avenue K from loth Street to 16th Street since such improve-
ments of Avenue K were never made or intended to be made, all other liens on
Avenue K improvements from 16th Street to 19th Street being retained in said
Partial Paving Release, attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the
minutes of this Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

/ PARTIAL PAVING RELEASE
/ WHEREAS, in a Notice of Street Improvement recorded in Volume 149, Pages
527-528 (inclusive) of the Deed of Trust Records of Lubbock County, Texas, the

Gjg-rvtCCity of Lubbock therein gave notice of improving among the streets therein
.%Er DrAvenue K widening from loth Street to 19th Street, which was in error since
,NDExc3such notice should have said from 16th Street to 19th Street; and,

WHEREAS, no improvements were made pursuant to said notice on Avenue K
from 10th Street to 16th Street, and the improvements were correctly stated in
Ordinance No. 1356 of the City of Lubbock recorded in Volume 497, Page 25 of
the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, as being Avenue K widening from its
intersection with the South Gutter Line of 16th Street to its intersection with
the North Gutter Line of 19th Street known and designated as Unit No. 1459;
and,
WHEREAS, to correct the public records it is necessary to release any lien
or cloud of title, if any, caused by the aforesaid error in said Notice of
Street Improvement; NOW THEREFORE:
IN consideration of the premises and to correct said error the property
affected in any manner by said Notice of Improvement abutting Avenue K from
loth Street to 16th Street is hereby released from any lien or cloud of title,
if any, created by the Notice of Street Improvement from loth Street to 16th
Street only and, the paving liens of whatsoever kind or nature are expressly
hereby retained by the City of Lubbock as regards the widening of Avenue K from
its intersection with the South Gutter Line of 16th Street to its intersection
with the North Gutter Line of 19th Street, known and designated as Unit No.
1459 in said Ordinance No. 1356, and as retained shall remain in full force and
effect.
