Said Amendment is attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if fully forth herein and shall be included in the minutes of the City Council. WITNESSETH WHEREAS, the State and the Local Government executed a contract on November loth of 2020 to effectuate their agreement for Advance Funding for the STP-MM Reconstruction Project Off -System; and, WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend that contract; WHEREAS, contract Amendment #1, to add the utilities on 114th Street from Quaker Avenue to Indiana Avenue, was executed on December 20, 2021; WHEREAS, The City of Lubbock has requested additional funding from the Municipal Planning Organization (MPO) due to higher bid letting costs than originally estimated. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and of the mutual covenants and agreements of the parties, the State and the Local Government do agree as follows: /_Trl:»=9uU4 in, r 1. Description of Amended Items III. Attachment C-1, Project Budget, is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with Attachment C-2, which is attached to this amendment. The project budget increased by $124,278.00 for the utilities and increased by $3,600,000.00 for the roadway construction. All other provisions of the original contract are unchanged and remain in full force and effect.
