BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO'WlISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS i SECTION ONE l That hereafter every person, firm or corporation who desires to enter into or engage in the business of electrician, plumber or gas fitteE, shall, before entering into or engaging in auch buainesa, execute and deliver to the City of Lubbock, Tex~s, a good and suffi- cient bond in the sum of $1000.00, conditioned as required . . by the respective laws and ordinances now in exiatence or , hereafter passed, regulating execution and deliveJY of a bond for each person, firm or corporation who may enter into or engage in any of the aforesaid lieee of business. SECTION TWO: That part of thiB ordinance fixing the amount of the bond shall be construed as an amend- ment of previous ordiaances regulating electricians, plumbers and gas fitters only to the extent of prescri,ing a uniform bond of Jl000.00 each, and shall not be construed as repealing or conflicting ,d th any other ordinance in any other respect. ~ ~ECTIOH THREES The aforesaid bond \ft-ii: be A. otherwise conditioned and executed as is now or may hereafter be provided by law or ordinance on or before January 1st, of every year for the succeeding year. SECTION FOUR: It shall be unlawful for aey 'fj~ person, firm of c'or'poration to enter into or engage in anyAlineb of busineas without having executed and delivered to the City of Lubbock the bond conditioned aforesaid. SECTION FIVE: If any person, firm or corporation wishes to begin such business after January lat, he shall nevertheless execute the required bond :itor the remainder of the year before entering into such business. SECTION IIXs Any person, firm or corpor- ation who shall enter into or engage in such business without a compliance herewith shall be fined in a sum not exceeding $200.00 for each and every offeaae.
