RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Overland Property Group has proposed a development for affordable
rental housing West of the Northwest corner of 114° Street and University, Lubbock,
Texas named Reserves at Copper Ranch development in the City of Lubbock, Texas; and
WHEREAS, Overland Property Group has advised that it intends to submit an
application to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for
2015 Competitive 9% Housing Tax Credits for Reserves at Copper Ranch development.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City of Lubbock, acting through its governing body, hereby confirms
that it supports the proposed Reserves at Copper Ranch development and that this formal
action has been taken to put on record the opinion expressed by the City on this date, and
THAT for and on behalf of the Governing Body, the City Secretary for the City of
Lubbock is hereby authorized empowered and directed to certify these resolutions to the
Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
Passed by the City Council this 12th day of February 2015.
