RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute
and on behalf of the City of Lubbock, Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreerr
Contract No. 14456 for services related to the implementation of an Impact Fee program, by
between the City of Lubbock and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., and related documents. S
Amendment is attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if fully set forth herein
shall be included in the minutes of the City Council.

Amendment 2
To Agreement Between
The City of Lubbock, TX
and
Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc.
THIS IS THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT dated and entered into on the
14th day of May 2019, Contract No. 14456, by and between the City of Lubbock ("City") and
Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. ("Engineer"), collectively ("Parties").
WHEREAS, the Engineer provided services for the implementation of a future infrastructure
funding study; and
WHEREAS, on March 23rd, 2021, via Resolution No. 2021-R0107, the Parties entered into
Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement to enlarge the scope of services to include services for the
initial implementation and administration of the impact fee program; and
WHEREAS, the term of Amendment No. 1 is nearing its end and the Parties agree there is a need
for ongoing assistance by the Engineer for the ongoing administration of the impact fee program.
NOW THERFORE the City and the Engineer agree to the terms of this SECOND
AMENDMENT:
The City and Engineer agree to extend the contract for ongoing assistance in the administration
of the impact fee program. The term shall be extended an additional two (2) years, and the
compensation for said services shall not exceed twenty thousand dollars and 00/100
($20,000.00).
All other portions of the original Agreement and previous Amendments, if any, shall remain in
place and are not altered by this amendment.
IN WITNESS HEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement as of this 26th day of
April 2022.
