THAT, Section Twenty-three ('23) of Ordinance Now 564 is hereby amended so as to change and modify the parking therein referred to, so; as to in- clude the street herein designated, with the following provisions: 1. That, a parking meter zone is hereby designated and established in the City of Lubbock, Tease said parking meter zone shall embrace that part of the following street hereinafter de .gnated, which shall limit of parking as follows: One (1) hour zone, Parallel Parking. (fit) The North side of Ninth (9th) Street from Texas Avenue Vest to the North -South Alley between Texas .Avenue and Avenue J. kS CTION 2. THAT, the Chief of Police is directed to place one (1) hour parking meters and lines designating parallel parking on that portion of Ninth (9th) Street designated in Section One (1) of this Ordinance. SECTION 3. THAT, all provisions of other Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance relating to park' meters on that part of the streets herein designated is hereby repealed, provided nothing herein shall over be construed as repealing any past of Ordinance No. 564 except as herein ex- pressly provided. SECTION 4. THAT, any person, firs, or corporation who shall violate, aid or abet the violation of any provision of this Ordinance and Ordinance No. 564 which it amends shall, upon conviction, be fined in any sum not exceeding Two Hundred (20000) Dollars. SECTION 51, THAT, the City Secretary is hereby directed to cause publica- tion of the descriptive caption of this Ordinance, together with the penalty clause as an alternative method of 'publication as provided by law.
