we designed it based on your needs now —and so that you can easily add other services
when you're ready.
We built the solution around AT&T Dedicated Internet, which is an internet access
service that combines a symmetrical, dedicated connection with symmetrical bandwidth
(same download and upload speeds) and provides reliable, high-performance
connectivity. AT&T Dedicated Internet includes maintenance of the communications link
between service locations and the AT&T network.
The solution has these key features:
■ 100% Site Availability —starts with proactive monitoring of our nationwide
backbone along with a network architecture that features redundant routers,
switches, and power supplies. As a result, we can reroute traffic around outages

and restore service almost instantaneously. This increases reliability and helps
ensure that your internet traffic gets through.
Class of Service (CoS)—prioritizes data traffic over your network access link, and
you can add this option to your ADI. We offer four classes of service and 25
service profiles that have predetermined bandwidth allocations. And, if any
service isn't using its allocated bandwidth, other services can share it. By using
this option, you can optimize your data traffic flows during congested periods.
Advantages of AT&T
Our high-speed mobile Internet network covers
nearly 380 million combined people and
businesses across the U.S. and Mexico. Also, we
wirelessly connect cars, machines, shipping
containers, and mobile -enabled devices. This
connectivity demonstrates our leadership in
what's called the Internet of Things (IoT). By
developing new technologies, apps, products,
and services —including 5G technologies —we
continue our commitment to innovation.
Personalized Support
Because we understand the importance of personalized service, we give you an account
team of specialists to design and implement your new solution. You'll receive ongoing,
coordinated support from your account team for all of your AT&T services -

For AT&T Dedicated Internet (ADI), AT&T provides several implementation support
functions and options.
Your service activation fee covers access line coordination. Domain Name System (DNS)
registration, and service testing as well as a technical interview with the AT&T
Provisioning Technical Engineer (PTE). The PTE works with you to prepare for providing
and initiating service. We provide site information to your designated point of contact
and register your network numbers, domain names, and routing information.
Unless you're using your own premises equipment, you must provide space and power
for the dedicated router and other premises equipment, an attachment to your internal

network, at least one computer with Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP) support, and a dedicated Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) line for the out -of,
band diagnostic modem.
We order and install the Private Line circuit, Frame Relay Permanent Virtual Circuit
(PVC), or ATM PVC necessary to deliver AT&T Dedicated Internet. In addition, we
arrange for the circuit to terminate near the planned equipment location. However,
you're responsible for inside wiring changes.
We conduct cooperative testing of your site to ensure that the on -site router
successfully communicates over AT&T Dedicated Internet. The cooperative testing
verifies the proper operation of the on -site equipment, the local access facility, and the
access infrastructure. Regardless of your state of readiness, we activate billing once we
complete the processes for providing service.
These processes include
■ Local access circuit order
• Interoffice channel (IOC) provisioning to the backbone node
• Backbone router provisioning
• DNS and option provisioning (if required)
• End -to -end connectivity testing over the Internet
An implementation option is Managed Router/Managed Router Option 2, which
includes the equipment configuration in the service activation fee. With this option, you
can choose to receive tele-installation or on -site installation (except for speeds of T3
and above, for which only on -site installation is available).
If you select tele-installation, you're responsible for unpacking and connecting the
premises equipment although telephone assistance from AT&T is available if necessary.
If you select on -site installation, we unpack, connect, and test the equipment, and we
complete the cooperative testing with the Network Operation Center (NOC).
In addition, we provide online access to the AT&T Dedicated Internet Implementation
Planner. This planner provides details about the Installation and use of the service.
This means that we facilitate your system installation so that you can take care of your
business.
