RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for
and on behalf of the City of Lubbock, Amendment No.I to the Shared Parking Lease
Agreement, updating the proposed site plan, by and between the City of Lubbock and
Lubbock Boys' & Girls' Club, Inc., and all related documents. Said Amendment is
attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be
included in the minutes of the City Council.

AMENDMENT No. 1 TO
Shared Parking Lease Agreement
City of Lubbock
Lubbock Boys' & Girls' Club, Inc.
This Amendment No. 1 to the Shared Parking Lease Agreement (the "Agreement"), executed
August 24, 2017, Resolution No. 2017-R0300, is entered into this Sth day of
Fehniary , 2018, by and between the City of Lubbock, a Texas municipal corporation
(the "City -and the Lubbock Boys' & Girls' Club, Inc., a State of Texas nonprofit organization
(the "Club").
WHEREAS, the City and the Club executed the Agreement for the joint use of a Parking
Area located at the Club's proposed facility adjacent to the City's Duran Park; and
WHEREAS, Duran Park does not currently have an off-street public parking lot; and
WHEREAS, the Club has expressed an interest and necessity in using a portion of City
property for ingress and egress from the Parking Area; and
WHEREAS, the Club has represented that they will comply with all laws, regulations,
policies and permits required by the City for the use of City property, and have represented to the
City that the proposed ingress and egress from the Parking Area use will not create any safety or
traffic hazard, and will not interfere with the necessary periodic use of the Parking Area by the
City or the public; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Club hereby desire to further amend said Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, the City and the Club hereby agree to amend the Agreement as
follows:
1) That "Exhibit A" of the Agreement is hereby substituted and replaced with "Exhibit A-
1" that is attached hereto.
