The above description was furnished by the Office of the City Engineer. Part
of such tract, as we understand it, is within the city limits. It is desir-
able that the remainder of such tract be annexed. We discussed this matter
with Mr. Vaughn Wilson, City Attorney, and Mr. Holmes of the City Engineering
Department on Saturday morning last, September 4. Mr. Wilson suggested that
if a request was received in time the annexation would be placed upon the
agenda for the meeting of the Council on September 9. It is understood that
the above field notes will need to be verified by an actual survey of the
tract which perhaps will be done, in order to establish the boundaries on the
ground at the time of the annexation.
It is understood that actual construction of the first unit of the armory will
be commenced without undue delay. It will be appreciated, therefore, if steps
of annexation can be started on September 9.
Very truly yours
