ORDINANCE NO. 2000-00010
AN ORDINANCE MAKING CHANGES IN THE FY 1999-2000 BUDGET OF THE
CITY OF LUBBOCK FOR GOVERNMENTAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Section 102.010 of the Local Government Code of the State of
Texas authorizes City Councils to make changes in budgets for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to change the budget for
municipal purposes and reallocate funds as follows; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Manager of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed
to make the following changes to the City of Lubbock Budget for municipal purposes and
to purchase land for the irrigation of effluent within the City of Lubbock:
The Sewer Capital Project #9135-Hancock Land Application Site Acquisition
shall be funded by $6,100,000 in Sewer System Surplus Revenue Certificates of
Obligation to purchase land for use as an additional Land Application Site for the
City of Lubbock.
THAT a copy of the changes made to the City of Lubbock Budget pursuant to this
Ordinance shall be filed with the City Secretary and County Clerk of Lubbock County as
required by law.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
