L_ RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ALL REMAINING WO�X OF THE PANHANDLE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY UNDER ITS CONTRACT WITH THIS CITY FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT. Whereas, the City of Lubbock heretofore entered into a contract with the Panhandle Construction Company for the making and construction if improvements on portions of South First Street, North First Street, Singer street, Chestnut Street, Cedar Street and Ash Street, and the said contract has been fully perforead by the said Company, and all of said improvements c completed: Therefore, be it resolved by the City of Lubbock: 1. That the improvements on all of said streets embraced under said contract be, and they are hereby accepted. 2. That the Mayor and the City Secretary be, and they are hereby directed to issue certificates in evidence of the assessments against all property abutting on said portions of streets, and against which certifi- cates have root heretofore issued and such certifi cates shall evidence the assessment fox, such improvements, and shall contain appropriate recitations in accordance with the proceedings of this City. Attest: This resolution shall take effect from and after its passage. Passed and appx-oved this 8th day of August, A.D. 1921. J.n. RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPFOVEMENTS ON NORTH FIRST STREET FROM THE ESAT LINE OF CHESTNUT STREET TO THE ViEST LINE OF HICKORY STREET. Whereas, The Panhandle Construction Company has completed the construc- tion of improvements on North First Street from the East line of Chestnut Street to the !Nest line of Hickory Street, and such improvements have been inspected: Therefore, be it resolved by the City of Lubbock: 1. That the improvements on such portion of said street be, and they are hereby accepted. 2. That the Mayor and the City Secretary be, and they are hereby directed to issue certificates in evidence of the assessments against property abut- ting on said street and against the oviners thereof, and containing appropriate recitations in accordonce with the proceedings of this City.
