Upon motion by Mr. Posey, seconded by Lir. Jones, Lir. Hankins was authorized to sell
the tent that belongs to the City for the best price that he can net for it.
Upon Motion by LIr. '.leaver, seconded by Mr. Posey, City Manager :7. H. Perkinson, was
authorized to properly connect block 107, O.T. with the Sevier mains.
Republic Upon motion by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. :leaver, it was ordered that the Republic
Flow Flow Meters Co., Chicago, Ill., be paid X1673.11 to cover the amount due said Com -

dHERa3, the City of Lubbock, heretofore entered into contract with Pan-
handle Construction Company for the making and construction of street improvements
on portions of numerous streets and places in said City, including among others,
the following:
IdINETKKN TH STREET, from the West property line of Texas Avenue to its in-
tersection with the center line of Avenue M, known as Unit No. 5.
'1T1_117.:G3, the improvements upon the said pnrtions of Nineteenth Street, have
been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accor-
dance with the terms of said contract; and,
lH✓RE,,;, said Panhandle Construction Company has this day filed with the
City its bond for the Llaiiitenance and repair of such improvements in accordance with
raragraph Lill of said contract, and such bonds, together with the Surety thereon,
have been examined and approved.

That the irpprovernents on said portions of Nineteenth Street, be and the
same are hereby accepted.

That the Ilayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed to ex-
ecute and deliver to the Contractor certificates in evidence of the assessments lev-
eed against the parcels of property abutting upon the said portions of Nineteenth
Street, and against the oanerc of such rroperty in the manner provided in said con-
tract, and the proceedings with reference to said improvements and assessments.

That the said bonds, toeether with the surety thereon, be and the same
are hereby in all respects accepted and approved.
1V.
This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
