to issue Warrant in favor of Bush Bros. in the amount of 6135.20 in '
payment for 541 feet of 2" water line in the alleys in _lock,5 7 and 8

City of Lubbock fu..ds for the two ye:..r period beginning July 21, 1928,
There being onl; one 'aid received from the Citizens iFational Bank
the bid being 3;o per annum said interest to be credited monthly,this
being -'cnnd to be the only and best bid whereupon motion made by
Mr.Hankins, seconded by I1r.Bacon, carried unanimously, it w<•s ordered
to award the contract to the Citizens Rational Bank, Lubbock,Texas,
for the ensuing two years.
Upon motion made by 1.1r.Hankins, seconded by Lir.acon c;. -cried unani-
mously, City Ta -Collector, :,.:.Holland, was authorized to let tax
equalization board values stand as it i:s rJaced by the board on Lubbock
Sanitarium property.
Upon motion made by L:r. Hankins, seconded by Lir. Bacon, curried unani-
mously, City Tax Collector, :.:..Holland, was authorized to assess all
Church property values ubjeet to taxation be accepted for assessment
purpose at 50�o at the full value.
Upon motion made by lir. lianki.ns, seconded by Lr. Bacon, it was ordered
to allow the Brorrn-Crummer Company, e -.tension of six months on their
contract regarding the refunding of the `66,000.00 bond issue providing
however it does not effect the I_revious coutract now in force. This
