GIVN.
THEREAS, the City Cormnissi on of the City of Lubbock,,
Texas, deems it advisable at this time to submit to the
c{ualified voters of the City of Lubbock amendments to the
existing Chester of said City; and,
V77,RE'AS9 the Charter of said City has not been altered
or amended within two ye -re next preceding this date:

S;ECTI ON l
That it is the intention of the City Commission
of the City of Lubbock, Texas, to pass an ordinance on the
26th day of May, 1932, or so soon thereafter as s7 .-h or-
dinance can be finally passed, for the purpose of submit-
ting to the oualified voters of said City amendments to
the existing Charter and calling an election for that pur-
pose.
SECTION 11
That the mayor is authorized and instructed to cause
a, substantial copy of this resolution to be published
in the official newspaper in the City of Lubbock, and sane,
when so published, is to be due notice of all said matters.
SECTION 111
Such notice shall be published for ten days and the
first of such publications shall be made as much a s
twenty days before; the 26th day of May, 1932.
SECTIOI' IV
This resolution shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
