0. C. Graves and wife Pearl Graves hereby
acknowledge the payment to them of Two Hundred (3200.00)
Dollars covering property taken or to be taken or damage
done or to be done to Lot Five (5) and the South one-half
(S ) of Lot Four (4) in Block -Fifty-seven (57) of the Orig-
inal Town of Lubbock in Lubbock County, Texas, by reason of
the construction, operation or maintenance of an underpass
in front of said lots on Avenue H, under the railroad tracks
and r.ight-of-way of the Santa Fe Railway Co.
And the said 0. C. Graves and wife Pearl
Graves, joined herein by the Temple Trust Company of Temple,
Texas, hereby release the City of Lubbock and the P. &
S. F. Ry. Co. and the P. cr IT. T. Ry. Co. from all damages
aforesaid.

for Lubbock County, Texas, on this day personally appeared
0. C. Graves and Pearl Graves, his wife, both known to me
to be the persons whose names are subscribed to the forego-
ing instrument, and acknowledged to me that they each execut-
ed the same for the purposes and consideration therein ex-
pressed, and the said Pearl Graves, wife of the said 0. C.
Graves, having been examined by me privily and apart from
her husband, and having the sane fully explained to her,
she, the said Pearl Graves, acknowledged such instrument to
be her act and deed, and she declared that she had willingly
signed the same for the purposes and consideration therein
expressed, and gnat she did not wish to retract it.
