Avdnue fegth -Street, ,,venue "R* -,4venue "S" ?.nd sundry streets and alleys, fixing the time and place of hearing, and directing they ity Secretary to give notice. ,,IMREAS, the City of Lubbock has heretofore ordered that the herein- belcc- mentioned portions of streets and alleys be improved by raising, grading and filling and paving, and by installing concrete curbs and gutters on Units Nos. 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 739 74, 75, 769 77, 789 799 80, 819 82, and otherwise; and, I-Y-741REAS, arrangements for the making and construction of said improvements has been made and entered into by the City of Lubbock, ,s ContractDr, and the City Engineer has made and prepared and filed with the City his rolls or statements showing the amounts to be assessed against parcels of abutting property and the owners thereof, and shaving other matters and things, and said statements have been examined and corrections made where necessary; THEREFORE 9 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: THAT, I. Said Rolls or Statements be and the sane are hereby adopted and approved. II. That a hearing be given and held b r and before the C i ty C ommi scion of Lubbock to the owners of property abutting upon the s aid streets and alleys to be improved, and to all others in any wise interested or affected, concerning said improvements, the amounts of the pro- posed assessments against abutting property and the o:r.iners thereof, concerning the apportionment of the cost of said improvements and the descriptions of property, names of ocrners, regularity of proceed- ings, and concerning all other matters and things in connection v,;ith .rhich anyone is entitled to be heard under the law and Charter v,rith amendments in force in said City, and the proceedings of the City ?,,rith reference to said improvements. The portions of streets and alleys so to be improved and in connection ,lith which such rolls or statements are ado --ted. being as set forth in the form of notice hereinbelow prescribed. Avenue V, from its intersection T!rith the North Property Line of Broadway to its intersection 7Tith the South Property Line of Main Street, known and designated as Unit or District No. 82. .And arrangements for the making and. construction of such improvements with pavement of triple course as -,,.halt surface treatment (inverted penetration type) on a Six (6) Inch Corn -acted Caliche Base, has been - made and entered into by City of Lubbock, Texas, and rolls or Statements sho,,ring the proposed amounts to be assessed against abutting property and the owners thereof have been filed with the City, such rolls or statements sho«ing other matters and things, and have been approved, and the City Commi ssicn of said City has fixed a time and place for hearing to the owners of property abutting upon said portions of streets and alleys, and avenues, and to others affected, at which hearing the amounts to be assessed against the respective parcels of abutting property and the owners thereof for improvements in the units upon which the particular parcels of property abut, the amounts of benefits to the respective parcels of property by means of the improvements in the unit upon ;-rhich the particular property abuts, the regularity of the proceedings with referer:ce to such improvements, the apportionment of the cost of such improvements, and other matters and things will be determined., and after such hearing assessments will by ordinance be made and levied, and such hearing will be had and held. by and before the City uorrusriission of the City of Lubbock, 'Texas, in the regular Commission meeting room in the City Hall, in the City of L bock, Texas, on the .Z6A day of 44-e_ - 1931; at / 31 otclock U".
