1937 at a regular meeting of the City Commission, upon motion
made by Commissioner Richarcison and seconded by Commis-
sioner 1-Portenberry , which said motion is in words and
figures as follows:
BE IT RE60LVED BY THE CITY CORM16SION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK
that Mayor Ross Edwards be and he is hereby authorized and dir-
ected to execute for and on behalf of the City, a release of
one certain paving lien dated May 26, 1934, executed by T. G.
Shaw in favor of the City of Lubbock, duly recorded in Vol. 18,
page 236, keehanic's lien xecords of Lubbock County, Texas,
which said paving lien was given for the purpose of securing
the sum of 477.41 for paving to be done by the City on the
street adjacent to Lot 12, Block 35, Highland Heights Addition
to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock y, Te .
