Noor, therefore, the City of Lubbock, acting by and through its r:Iayor thereunto duly authorized by Resolution passed by the City Commission on the l3'th day of 11ay, 1937, does hereby release, quit claiia and relinquish any and all rights, titles, interest and equities which it had by virtue of being the owner and holder of said paving lien.
