''JIiERPAS, on August 14, 1930, the City of Lubbock did by
Ordinance No. 470 assess Lots Five (5) and Seven (7) in Block
One (1) Merrill Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas, the sure of $787.00 to cover the cost of paving Avenue H.
a street located in front of said lots; and

Noor, therefore, the City of Lubbock, acting by and through

release, quit claiia and relinquish any and all rights, titles,
interest and equities which it had by virtue of being the owner and
holder of said paving lien.
