commission of the city of Lubbock., Texas, petitions signed by

in said city on the: questionoftrae issuancd of bonds for the Pur -
POSE OF THE construction of buildings, sewers and other permanent
improvements vaitll in the City of Lubbock, and the construction and
improvement of streets of such city for the folloxing purposes and
in the following amounts:

The manner of holding,, said election shall be governed by
the laws of the Stat- of Texas regulating general elections.

publication of a copy of this order. Said notice shall be posted
in each of the election precincts herein designated, and at the
amity Hall, not less than. fourteen (14) days prior to the date

ordinance is necessary for the preservation of public peace,
property, health or safety demands that the rules requiring ordin-
ance: be reed on more than one date; before final passage be suspend-
ed, and such rule is hereby suspended and this oruinance is adopt-
ed as an ezmer�*ency mea.sare bo take effect and be in force i7i nedietely
upon its passage and approval.
