TfiEREAS, the Oity of Lubbock has heretofore ordered that the hereinbelor mentioned portions of streets and alleys anal avenues be improved by raising, grading and filling and paving, and by installing concrete curbs and gutters on Units ITos. 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, 149, 150, 151, 152, 153, and othen-rise; and, arrangements for the racking and construction of said improvements has been made and entered into by the City of Lubbock, as Contractor, and the CitY Engineer has rude and prepared and filed with the City his rolls or statements shoving the amounts to be assessed agginst parcels of abutting property and the owners thereof, and showing other matters and things, and said statements have been examined and corrections made .where necessary: "�RFFORF, BE IT RESOLVED 15Y 7.7, CIT-` OF :ITRBOCI:, =.M3; TI T, I. Said rolls or statements be and the same are hereby adopted and approved. II. That a hearing be given and held by and before the City Commission of Lubbock to the ovmers of property abutting upon the said streets and alleys to be improved, and to all others in any wise interested or affected, concerning said improvements, the amounts of the proposed assessments against abutting property and the ovrners thereof, concerning the apportionment of the cost of said improvements and the descriptions of property, names of owners, regularity of proceedings, and concerning all other clatters and things in connection with which anyone is entitled to be heard under the Law and Charter with amendments in force in said `'ity, and the pro- ceedings of the City with reference to said improvements. The portions of streets and alleys so to be improved and in connection vrith :which such rolls or statements are adopted being as set forth in the form of notice heren below prescribed, III. Said hearing shall be held in the regular Commission meeting room in the City IT 11 in the City of Lubbock, Texas, on the 24th day of I::arch A.D. 1938, at 1:30 o'clock P 1Q., and may be continued from time to tiTie until the purposes thereof Care in the opinion of the Commission fully accomplished, and such hearing shall in all respects be conducted in accordance vrith said charter with amendments, law and proceedings. IV.
