T, CMZ _' the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street
improvement ordinances and resolutions, and entered into contrzact
with the propert; owners for the raking and construction of street
iriprovements on portions of nunerous streets, avenues and alleys
in said Cit-, includinU among others the following:
The ',east one-half of the East and west Alley in Block 117
Original To-,-jn, Lubbock, Texas, kno7.vn and designated as
Unit or District Ho. A-28.
Forth and South Mey through Block 147, OriCinal Town,
Lubbock, Texas, known and designated as Unit or District No.
A-37.
11 TzEAS, the improvements u')on the said portions of Alley in
Block 117, Original 'sown of Lubbock, Texas, and Alla;, in Block
147, Ori-inal loan, Lubbock, 'exa_s, have been c,tpleted and -.have
been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance
^rith the terms of said contract;

That the inproverlents on said portion of Block 117, Original To -,,in,
Lubbock, -Texas, and Block 147, Original Town, __ubbock, Texas,
be and the sane are hereby accepted.
II.
That the I ayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed
to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments
levied against the parcels of property abutting upon the said
portion of Block 117, Original Town, Lubbock, Texas, and dock
147 , Original To��m , Lubbock, Texas, and against the owners of
such property in accordance with law and in the manner provided in
said contract, and the proceedings with reference to said ir.,prove-
rents and assessments.
III.
This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
