WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock has heretofore ordered that the hereinbelow mentioned portions of streets and alleys and avenues be improved by raising, grading and filling and paving, and by installing concrete curbs and gutters on Units Nos. 206, 358, 359, 363, 364, 365, 368, 370, 371, 372, 373., 374, 375, 376, 377, 378, 379, 380, 381, 382, 383, 384, 385, 386, 387, 388, 389, 390, 394, 396, 397, 398, 395, 399 and otherwise; and, WHEREAS, arrangements for the making and construction of said improvements have been made and entered into by the City of Lubbock as Contractor and the City Engineer has made and prepared and filed with the City his rolls or statements showing the amounts to be assessed against parcels of abutting property and the owners thereof, and showing other matters and things, and said statements have been examined and corrections made where necessary; THE 3FOR , BE IT RESOLVED By THE CITE' OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS; THAT, I. Said rolls or statements be and the sage are hereby adopted and approved. II. That a hearing be given and held by and before the City Commission of Lubbock to the owners of property abutting upon said streets and alleys to be improved, and to all ot:zers in any wise interested or affected, concerning; said improvements, the amounts of the pro- posed assessments against abutting property and the owners thereof, concerning the apportionment of the cost of said improvements and the descriptions of property, na.Lles of owners, regularity of pro- ceedings, and concerning all other matters and things in connection with which anyone is entitled to be heard under the Law and Charter with amendments in force in said City, and the proceedings of the City with reference to said improvements. The portions of streets and alleys so to be i,_proved and in connection with which suc'a rolls or statements are adopted being set forth in the form of notice herein below prescribed, III. Said hearing shall be held in the regular Commission meeting room of the City Hall in the City of Lubbock, Texas, on the 22nd day of 1 ay 1941, at 1:30 P.T.- , and may be continued f rom time to ti. -,e u til the purposes thereof are in the opinion of the Commission fully accomplished and such hearing shall in all respects be conducted in accordance with said charter with amendments, law and proceedings. 4. IV. The rolls or statements showing the proposed amounts of such assessments are on file in the office of the City Secretary and copies thereof are in the office of the City Engineer of the City of Lubbock and open to inspection of any interested parties at any time, and of all said matters and things all such owners of property, as well as any and others in any wise affected or interested, will take due notice.
