Units Nos. 366, 367, 40G, 4Q1• NOTICE TO THE OWNERS OF PROPERTY ABUTTING UPON THE HEREINBELOW MENTIONED PORTIONS OF STREETS, AVENUES AND ALLEYS, AND TO ALL OTHERS AFFECTED: The Governing Body of the City of Lubbock has heretofore ordered that the following portions of streets, avenues and alleys in said City of Lubbock, Texas, be improved by raising grading and filling and pavlag and by installing concrete curbs and gutters on Units Nos. 366, 367, 400, 401, and otherwise, to-wit: Avenue N from its intersection with the South Property Lime of 26th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 27tn Street, known and designated as Unit or District No. 366. Avenue N. from its intersection with the South Property Lihe of 27th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 30th Street, known and designated as Unit or District No, 367. Avenue V from. its intersection with the South Property Line of 10th Street to its intersection. with the North Pro e.rty Line of Main Street, known and designated as Unit or District No. U0. Avenue H from its intersection with the South Property Lime of Sanders Street to 236.7x south of the South Property Line of 4th Street, known and designated as Unit or District No. 401. and arrangement for the making and construction of such improvements with pavement of quadruple course asphalt surface treatment (Inverted Penetration_ Type) on a Six (6) inch compacted caliche base has been made and entered into by the City of Lubbock, Texas, and rolls or statements showing the proposed amounts to be assessed against abutt- ing property and the owners thereof have been filed with the City, such rolls or statements showing other matters and things, and have been approved,, and the City Commission of said City%has fined a time -�-- andp place for hearing to the wwners of property abutting upon said portions of streets, avenues and alleys, and to all others affected, at which hearing the amounts to be assessed against the respective parcels of abutting property and the owners thereof for improvements in the units upon which the particular parcels of property abut, the amounts of benefits to the respective parcels of property by means of the improvements in the unit upon. which the particular property abuts, the regularity of the proceedings with reference to such improvements, the apportionment of the cost of such improvements, and other matters and things will be determined, and after such hearing assessments will by ordinance be made and levied, and such hearing will be had and held by and before the City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, int the regular Commission meeting, room in the City Hall, in. the City of Lubbock, Texas, on the .19 day of&a 4 124j, at I&v o' clockd* The rolls or statements showing the propos amounts of such assess- ments are an file in the office of the. Gentlemen; I hand you herewith 40 paving certificates on Unit #391, Avenue H (widening) from the SPL 16 th Street to to South Ptoperty Ling of 19 th Street, this being all of the certificated on this Unit. The Net Total of these 40 paving certificates is $4452.56, which is the amount of the final assessment less 25% credit for WPA funds. '1HEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improve- ment ordinances and resolutions, and entered into contr,-ct r-ith the property owners for the making and constructioVof street improvements on rortions of numerous streets and avenues in said 6ity, including among others the following: Avenue H (widening and re -paving) fron the S.P.L. 16th Street to the S.P.L. 19th Street, known and designated as Unit or District No. 391. 20D WI— EREAS, the improvements unon said nor tionof the above mentioned streets and/or avenues and alleys, have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with the terms of said contract: THL-MEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: I. That, the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned streets and/or avenues and alleys, be and the same are hereby accepted. II. That the Mayor and. City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against the parcels of property abutting upon said portions of the streets, and/or avenues and alleys as listed above, and against the owners of such property in accordance with law and in the manner provided in said contr�:ct, and the proceedings with reference to said improvements and assessments.
