RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS,
AND/OR AVENUES, AND ALLEYS, nS LISTED BELOW, AND ORDERING
THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF ASSESSMENTS
LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various
streets and/or alley iLaprovement ordinances and resolutions,
and entered into contract with the property owners for the
making and construction of s eet and/or alley improvements
on portions of numerous strs, and/or avenues and/or alleys
in said City, inclui;ng amoi'll- others the following:
Avenue Q from its intersection with the North Property Line
of 6th Street to its intersection with the South Property
Line of 4th Street, known and designated as Unit or District
No. 206.
Avenue N from its intersection with the South Property Line of
25th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line
of 26th Street, known and designated as Unit or District No.
3o8.
25th Street from its intersection with the ',PJest Property Line
of Avenue H to its intersection with the East Property Line of
Texas Avenue, known and designated as Unit or District No. 335.
25th Street from its intersection with the ';'lest Property Line
of Texas Avenue to its intersection with the East Property
Line of Avenue L, known and designated as Unit or District No.
336.
26th Street from its intersection with the East Gutter Line of
Avenue L to its intersection with the Last Property Line of
Avenue P, known and designated as Unit or District No. 364.
27th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line
of Avenue L to its intersection with the East Property Line of
-ivenue P, known and designated as Unit or District No. 365.
Avenue N from its intersection with the South Property Line of
26th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of
27th Street, known and designated as Unit or District No. 366.
Avenue N from its intersection with the South Property Line of
27th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of
30th Street, known and designated as Unit or District No. 367.
Avenue G from its intersection with the North Property Line of
19th Street to its intersection with the South Property Line of
Of 25th Street, known and designated as Unit or District No. 394.
24th Street from its intersection with the 171est Property Line of
Avenue G to its intersection with the East Property Line of
Avenue H, known and designated as Unit or District 140 -395 -
Avenue H froia its intersection with the South Property Line of
Sanders Street to a point 236.7' South of the South Property
Line of 4th Street, known and designated as Unit or DEstrict
No. 401-
25th Street from its intersection with the ':I`est Property Line
of Avenue G to its intersection with the East Property Line of
Avenue H, known and designated as Unit or District No. 405.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portion of the
above mentioned streets and/or avenues and/or alleys have
been completed and have been inspected and found to have been
constructed in accordance with the teras of said contract;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI'_'Y OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned
streets and/or avenues and/or alleys be and the same are hereby
accepted.
II.
That the 111ayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instruct-
ed to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assess-
ments levied against the parcels of property abutting upon the
said portions of the streets and/or avenues and/or alleys, as
listed above, and against the owners of such property in accord-
ance with law and in the manner provided in said contract, and
the proceedings with reference to said improvements and assessments.
III.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
