HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 041146B - Multiple Streets And Avenues Designated As Boulevards - 04/11/1946RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Ordinance #575, Article XII, Section 1, and other provisions of this ordinance relating to traffic control authorizes the Chief of Police to place traf- fic control devices as directed by resolution of the City Commission, TF1EREFORE2 BE IT RFS JLVED BY THE CITY C 01V1MISSIJN OF TIHE CITY OF LUBBOCK: That the following named streets and Avenues BE, and the same are hereby desig- rated boulevards 2.ccordin-a to the terms of this resolution. The Chief of Police is authorized and directed to place "STOP" signs of uniform height, size, wording and color on the riht-hand parkway of each road, street, alley, highway or other way intersecting the following streets between the named limits EXCEPT the intersections regulated by automatic light traffic control devices, the location of all streets, roads, avenues and highways to be established accord- ing to the official map of the City of Lubbock as amended, said streets being: 19th Street from Texas Avenue w'r'est to City limits. 4th Street from College Avenue to Avenue "J". College Avenue from South City limits to North City limits. Avenue %11 from South City limits to North City limits. Texas Avenue from 8th Street to 30th Street.
