"BE IT RESOLVED: That, whereas, the owners of Lot Number Eighteen (18) , in Block lumber Two (2) of the iankins _addition to the City of Lubbock, in Lubbock County Texas, has dedicated the Abrth 16.05 Feet (approximately) of the following described tract of land, to -writ: EEGIITI:Iili'G at a point in the "lest property line of said Lot Number 18, Block Number 2, Hankins, =addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, 46.05 Feet North of the +south line of Section 2, Block 0, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE Easterly along the proposed North property line of 19th Street parallel to and 4b Feet North- erly from. the center line of the new street location 130 feet to a point in the Nast property line of said Lot 16, Block 2; THENCE South 43.52 Feet to said section line; LT11ENCE ?'fest 130 -meet to a point in the !'fest property line of said Lot 18, Block 2; THENCE North 46.05 feet to the place of beginning, all of said North 16.05 feet being dedicated to the public for street and highway purposes EXC IT the North 13 Feet thereof, which has been dedicated for parkway purposes, and such dedication havinv been made by the owners of said property upon the representation and agreement by the Commissioners of the City of Lubbock that 45 -degree angle parking would be permitted and allowed upon said dedicated property and along 19th Street and ii,lraedia.tely south of said Lot 18; and ""J"ereas, the said dedication of valuable property has been made by reason of the agreement of the City Com- missioners to so allow 45 -degree angle parking in front of said premises; and "ILereas, the Commissioners for the City of Lubbock have further agreed with the owners of said Lot 18 that in the event the public should ever cease to use the pro- perty dedicated for parkway purposes for such parkway purposes, or that such parking should ever be prevented or prohibited by any regulation, statute, ordinance or traffic rule, then the o7ner of said lot should be entitled to, and should be permitted to extend the sidewalk lying ir".�Liediately south of the building upon said Lot 18 south to a point not to exceed 13 Feet South from the 'North Line of the property herein- above described by metes and bounds, the South line of said sidewalk, when extended, shall run parallel to the North Line of the tract hereinabove described by zetes and bounds. "IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED: That there shall be per- mitted 45 -degree angle parking upon all of the property ded- icated, for parkway purposes, and in the event that such 45 -degree angle parking should ever be abandoned by the public or prohibited by any traffic rule, regulation, State lata or City ordinance, then the owner of said Lot 18 shall be permitted to extend the concrete sidewalk running in an .Easterly-!",Testerly direction and lying immediately South of the building now upon said Lot 18, South to a point not to exceed 15 :Feet South of the North line of the property here- inabove described by metes and bounds, the South Line of which sidewalk shall run parallel to the North side of the tract hereinabove described by metes and bounds."
