iirFffiRhAS, on June 5, 19471 by Ordinance No. 812, duly enacted by the City
Commission of the City of Lubbock, an assessment lien was created affecting all
of block 10 of Roberts &McWhorter Addition to the City of Lubbock, Texas, and,
011HEREAS, thereafter the North 443.7 feet of said block was platted and sub-
divided into lots and designated Bryan -Walker Sub -division of Block 10, Roberts
and McWhorter Addition to the City of Luboock, Texas, which plat was approved
by the Governing Body of the City of Lubbock, April 24, 1947, and,
V,HEREAS, the ordinance intended to secure payment for paving on and along
Uvalde Avenue2and .Lots 10 through 18 inclusive of Bryan -balker Sub -division of
said t3lock 10 do not abut Uvalde Avenue and the owners of said last described
lots desire a release of the lien as to said lots, due to the fact that no
paving is to tie done on Avenue V in front of said described lots by virtue of
Ordinance No.8121 THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE. CITY COICMISSIOIv OF THE; CITY OF LUB-30CK:
THAT, in consideration of the premises the City of Lubbock does by these
presents release Lots 10 through 18 inclusive of Bryan -Walker Sub -division of
Block 1J, Roberts & McWhorter Addition to the City of Lubbock, Texas, from any
and all liens and/or claims for paving which have or might be created by virtue
of the provisions of Ordinance No. 812, of the City of Lubbock, Texas.
It is expressly understood that any and all liens, rights and privileges
of the City of Lubbock created by Ordinance No. 812 as to the remaining portion
of the said Block 1J of Roberts & M16ihorter Addition, are in all things retained
by the City of Luobock and that this release is intended to release only that
portion of said block above described and being Lots 10 through 18 inclusive
of Bryan -Walker Sub -Division. The iylayor is hereby authorized to execute a re-
lease in accordance with this resolution.
