WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement ordinances and resolutions, and entered into contract with the property owners for the making and construction of street improvements on portions of numerous streets, and/or avenues in said City, including among others the following.- Avenue ollowing. Avenue M from its intersection with the South Gutter Line of 4th Street to its intersection with the North Gutter Line of 5th Street, known and designated as Unit Nunber 579. Avenue M from its intersection with the North Gutter Line of 5th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 6th Street, known and designated as Unit Number 580. Avenue M from its intersection with the South Property Line of 6th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 7th Street, known and designated as Unit Number 581. Avenue G from its intersection with the South Gutter Line of 4th Street to its intersection with the South Property line of 5th Street, known and designated as Unit Number 582. Avenue U from its intersection with the North Property Line of 2nd Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 3rd Street, known and designated as Unit Number 674. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXASs I. That the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned streets and/or avenues be and the same is hereby accepted. II. That the Mayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against the parcels of property abutting upon the said portions of the streets and/or avenues as listed above, and against the owners of such property in accordance with law and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference to said im— provements and assessments. 6. r This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
