RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR AVENUES,
AS LISTED BELOW, AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF ASSESS-
MENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement
ordinances and resolutions, and entered into contract with the property owners for
the making and eonstruction of street improvements on portions of numerous streets,
and/or avenues in said City, including among others the followingt
Avenue W from its intersection with the South Property Line of lot Street to its
intersection with the North Property Line of 2nd Street, known and designated as
Unit No. 786.
27th Street from its.intersection with the East Property Line of Van Buren Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Tyler Avenue, known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 787.
25th, Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Avenue S to Lake,
known and designated as Unit No. 802,
32nd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Monroe Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Tyler Avenue, known and
designated as Unit No. 821.
Waco Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of lot Street to
its intersection with the North Property Line of 2nd Street, known and designated
as Unit No. 822.
Jefferson Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 32nd Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 33rd Street, known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 824.
Jefferson Avenue from its intersection with the North Paving Line of 34th Street
to its intersection with the South Property Line of 33rd Streeti known and designa-
as Unit No. 825.
31st Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Van Buren Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Tyler Avenue, known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 832,
20th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Polk Avenue to
its intersection with the West Property Line of Taylor Avenue, known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 833.
Van Buren Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 26th Street
to its intersection with the ---North Property Line of 27th Street, known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 837.
Van Buren Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 27th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 28th Street, known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 838.
Van Buren Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 28th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 29th Street, known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 839.
Van Buren Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 29th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 30th Street, known and desig-
nated as Unit No. 840.
AND V03REAS, the improvements upon the said portion of the above mentioned
streets and/or avenues have been completed and have been inspected and found to
have'been constructed in accordancd with the terms of said contract.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned streets and/or
avenues be and the same is hereby accepted.
Ii.
That the Mayor and City Secretary be and they are hereby instructed to execute
^ and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against the parcels
of property abutting upon the said portions of the streets and/or avenues as listed
above, and against the owners of such property in accordance with law and in the
manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference to said im-
provements and assessments.
III.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
