Hon. Mayor and City Council of Lubbock

Re: The Ridge Development at Quincy Avenue
Hon., Mayor and City Council Members:
I am in the process of developing The Ridge subdivision located along the west side of Quincy
Avenue extending from 98th Street to 105th Street, Quincy Avenue is being developed as a _
boulevard with existing Xcel electric transmission lines located in the middle. The transmission
lines have necessitated the need for medians to be platted.and constructed in Quincy Avenue.
The medians are to be privately owned and maintained and are not proposed to be supplied
with any irrigation systems. As such; the current Code of Ordinances allows for the paving on
each side of the median to be constructed with asphalt paving.
Please consider this letter as my request for formal City Council approval of the medians in
Quincy Avenue for the entire development as required by Code.
I am happy to addressany questions you may have regarding this matter and look forward to
the item being placed on the soonest available City Council agenda for action. My telephone
number is 806-543-0667 should you have any questions.
Re ectfully,.
