WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock has approved the ,
appraisal by the Lur.bock Real :,state Appraisal Committee, Tom Sawyer, J. W. Chapman
and A. T.. Cocanougher, for the widening o:f 34th Street between Avenue Q and
Avenue H in the City of Lubbock; THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMSSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT Lona Owens and husband, M. O. Owens, the true owners and all persons
in interest in the following described property, to -wit:
The South twelve and one-half (S'12-1/2) feet of Lots
Twenty (20), Twenty -.One , Twenty -Two (22) and Twenty -
Three (23) in Block Five (5), Flynn Place Addition to the
City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas,
be offered by a Right of Way Agent of the City of Lubbock, the sum of Twelve
Hundred Fifty and NO/1+00(X1250.00) Dollars for said property., including all
improvements thereon, with possession delivered to the City of Lubbock free and
clear of any and all liens, encumbrances or claims of any nature.
On motion of Commissioner Morris , seconded by Commas-

sioner Thomas , the foregoing Resolution was pissed by the
following vote of the City Commission on this the 9th day of _ October ,
1952:
Commissioners voting "YEA": Morris, Carpenter, Davis, Thomas & Mayor Tripp
Commissioners voting "NAY": None
